Lisa Norris – Associate
Ms.
Norris has several years of experience in intellectual property law including
preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications.
Ms. Norris also has significant experience with trademark practice.
Ms. Norris' specialty areas include: networking technology; semiconductor
processing; semiconductor/microprocessor design, IC packaging, computer systems
and gaming machine technology.
Ms.
Norris has prepared and prosecuted domestic and foreign patent applications in a
variety of technical areas including: semiconductor
fabrication, semiconductor packaging, computer security, networking products,
graphical user interfaces, database systems, gaming machines, agricultural
implements, chemical treatment systems, medical devices, and bicycle inner tube
construction.
Prior
to joining Gunnison, McKay and Hodgson, L.L.P., Ms. Norris was an associate at
the Monterey office of a prominent Silicon Valley based law firm.
Prior to obtaining her J.D., Ms. Norris served seven years in the United
States Air Force as a Communications-Electronics Officer.

Norris received a J.D. from California Western School of Law, San Diego,
California where she earned an American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Skills.
Ms.
Norris received a Master of Science from the Naval Postgraduate School,
Monterey, California, in Systems Technology (Command, Control and Communications
Systems) and a Bachelor of Science
degree in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
Ms.
Norris is admitted to the bar in California.
She also is registered to
practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
